huiqi told me to blog before i fly off to hong kong for a 'break', so they say, but i know its a homework-filled week for me. it hasnt been a great time, personally, these couple of weeks, but im now at a stage that i know exactly what i want - i know exactly what i need and what i dont in my life.
i love talking to the friends around me - had a great skype session with jess nasr just an hour back, and i realise that everything can be put into perspective once i find someone to talk to. shawnong, thanks for listening to me, and huiqi thanks for always trying to make me admit ill miss you. haha.
was at ureca meeting that day and when i saw xinying walk out of that door and i know i wont see her for a couple of weeks at least, suddenly i was filled with loneliness. she's been my partner in crime, if you like, with the stress of ureca and school work and everything else. ill miss everyone in school. =)
but ill have a great time in hk, i know. will come back totally expert in cantonese k, i promise. haha. =)

yes, i know im supposed to be studying, looking at the list of things that are staring back at me >_< but i woke up to a great day of baseball because ichiro hit two walkoff hits in two consecutive days and i just cnt stop celebrating. =D last night he hit a double in the 14th inning to win against the chicago white sox, and today a 2-run homerun against the yankees. wow. wowwowwow. twitter was all abuzz and everything and all mariners fans were tweeting non-stop, with ichiro on the trending topics. haha.
love the last three-way hug between mike sweeney, ichiro and felix hernandez - the three favourite guys i have on this team. the mariners have had an amzing season, and with it ending, i cnt wait to see what the next season brings for us. =D
and in other random news, will be reading the lost symbol and hopefully be done with it soon. somehow it isnt as exciting. yet. will see how it goes.

school's off and rolling, and suddenly its September alr, dang. readings after readings, and really you havent been studying much, in tt revision sense. just going on and on with readings galore. but its amazing, cause im realising how much about linguistics there is still to figure out, and wondering if ill ever reach tt stage where i can be alec, or kk, and give answers to questions in tt concise, amazing way.
i love lms, everyone's fun, and the work is challenging. its amazing that i can come into this course not knowing anything about why i really am so adamant on doing it, but emerging one year down the road sure of my path in life now. im excited about the future, which is rather amazing in its own way. >_<
and i bought MR BRAIN. like finally. whoopee. and just watching the preview special makes me want to start on it and everything, but i know i cnt. at least not till i finish the turn taking paperrrr. >_< 15 more pages to go, come on come on.
i shall do tt now.
